Objective

To create a Battle Royale game as a "business simulator" in an academic environment*.*

Synopsis

Fit your drip and hit the streets for this fast paced free-for-all dodgeball game with an ever-closing space, in a online 20-player elimination battle.

Responsibilities

I was the Producer and Lead of the Game Design and Audio team (6 people), managing and leading the team on meetings, market research, design decisions, documentation, carrying out tasks, etc.

One of the tasks I was responsible for was defining the visual elements such as the UI/UX, ****the screen flow and their initial mockups. Subsequently made and implemented by the Art and Programming teams.

In addition, I often joined the programming team to assist with minor tasks, as well as answering design questions.

Together with the leads/producers of each team, and the management team, we constantly discussed the demands of the project, defining task schedules, and even readjusting the scope as necessary, for example. We concluded our work with a Game Bible, that compiles information and documents from all the teams, from pre-production to completion, such as the GDD itself.

Online Ball Bounce Tests

Online Ball Bounce Tests

*The game was played by those present at the final presentation panel (students and teachers), with the map, menus and mechanics already implemented and online. The members of the panel gave their feedback with ideas of things that could be improved if there was an extension, which they would have liked to see happen, given their positive evaluations.

Unfortunately, the match wasn't recorded and we don't have any images of the final version at the moment.
